Sophie Sureau Captivated All At Last Month's Luncheon

Sophie Sureau, Executive Director of Susan G. Komen for the Cure, captivated everyone as she spoke about the 2002 Bali night club bombing.

She shared her heroic story about the horrifying incident, her struggle to survive and how the bombing changed her entire outlook on life.

"I've learned something through this: things happen for a reason in life," she says. "I realized that my life was too fast-paced. I needed to understand that. I believe that this event… made me finally understand that. I've grown through this. I'm not saying terrorism should continue… but I've come out of this stronger.

Sophie is a true inspiration!
